Description

Water demand estimates for the 307 medium-sized catchments for different categories for current and future conditions. One text file is provided per demand category. One column corresponds to one catchment (IDs compare to shapefile), The data are provided at monthly resolution in mm/d and can be converted to volumes by using the catchment area. E.g. Q[mm/d] * catchment area [m²] /1000 = Q[m³/d] or to obtain discharge in m³/s Q[mm/d] * catchment area [m²]/1000/24/3600 = Q [m³/s]. Future irrigation and hydropower water demand are provided per climate model chain.
