Description
The term «vulnerability» refers to the sensitivity of a system in relation to a harmful external influence. In the case of groundwater, vulnerability is defined as the exposure to pollution through the influx of harmful substances into the aquifer. This plate shows the vulnerability of groundwater resources to potential pollutants throughout Switzerland.
