Description
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) according to Article 36 of the Animal Welfare Act is required to publish annual statistics on animal experimentation in Switzerland These statistics are based on the annual reports of researchers and comply with the provisions of the Animal Welfare Act as well as the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Experimental and other Scientific Purposes.
