Description
Distribution of the age at first lambing (AFL, in months) by year of slaughter and by breed type of the ewe (dairy breeds or beef breeds). The AFL is shown in the range of 10-40 months in the form of a boxplot. For the determination of the AFL, only animals born as of 1.8.2018 are taken into account. Individual identification and registration of small ruminants was introduced in January 2020. Analyses performed on this data may still show biases. The number of observations per year and by breed type can be found in the .csv.
